What is Bankruptcy?

Save Your Home From Foreclosure

Do not let your creditors continue to harass you. The Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA) was passed to make sure the debt collectors do not use unfair or abusive tactics to attempt to collect a debt. There are many restrictions and rules as to when a collection agency can call you and where they can call you. If a collection agency is calling you at work and you have told them not to they are violating the FDCPA. If they call your family member they are violating the FDCPA. If the collection agency threatens to arrest you, take your car or your house they are violating the FDCPA. There are many other violations that collection agencies employ to try and get any type of payment out of you. They know they are violating the FDPCA but settling the lawsuits that are filed against them is still worth it. That is the sad part. The collection agencies know they can violate the law and still make money because most people do not sue them. Most people either deal with it or pay them money because they think the collection agency will stop the abusive tactics. They usually do not.

We can help you file bankruptcy and sue collection agencies for abusing you. We will need you to document the abuses though. What is the name of the collection agency? When did they call? What did they say? What phone number did they call you from? How many times a day do they call you? Where do they call you?
